Strands & Co. – Cancellation policy (2025)

At Strands and Co., we are committed to providing each of our clients with exceptional service. When you book an appointment with us, that time is reserved exclusively for you. We understand that life happens and sometimes schedules change.

To best serve all of our clients:

We kindly ask that all cancellations or rescheduling be made at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment.

If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment time or fail to show up, a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled services will be charged.

This policy allows us to manage our schedule effectively and provide timely service to all clients. We value your time, and we hope you value ours by respecting this policy.

Strands & Co. – Terms & Conditions

1. Appointment Booking & Confirmation

  • Clients may schedule appointments via our website, email, or phone.

  • A valid credit/debit card is required to secure your booking; however, no charge will occur unless fees apply.

2. Cancellation & No‑Show Policy

  • We request that all cancellations or rescheduling be made at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours or failure to attend (no-show) will incur a 50% cancellation fee based on the scheduled service value.

  • Services booked less than 24 hours in advance remain subject to the same cancellation terms.

3. Late Arrival

  • Please arrive at least 10–15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.

  • Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule, and cancellation fees may apply.

4. Payment & Fees

  • Accepted forms: Visa, MasterCard, AmEx, Discover, cash, or gift cards.

  • Any applicable cancellation fees will be charged automatically to the card on file.

5. Service Satisfaction (“Redo Policy”)

  • If you are dissatisfied with your service, you may request a redo with the same stylist within 7 days at no additional cost.

  • We may offer service with another stylist as needed.

6. Privacy & Data Security

  • We collect and securely store your contact and payment details for appointment purposes.

  • Your information is used only for service delivery, reminders, or internal analytics; not shared with third parties.

  • We comply with California privacy regulations and honor requests regarding your personal data.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Services are provided “as is,” and Strands & Co. assumes no liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • In accordance with California law, liability is limited to the cost of the service(s) provided.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on our website and marketing materials, including logos, images, and text, is the property of Strands & Co. and may not be replicated without permission.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

  • Any legal disputes must be brought in courts located in Orange County, California.

10. Updates to Terms

  • Strands & Co. reserves the right to modify this agreement; any changes will be effective immediately upon posting online.

  • Continued use of our booking system or services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
